How to Set Up a Cause

Once you have created your StopGiver account, setting up a cause is the next step.

Setting up a cause allows your thoughts and ideas to come together in a special  place where you can share it with anyone who has similar concerns, hopes, dreams or even anger to ‘stop’ a particular practise.

It is putting your words out there to the world in hopes of touching people with your ideals. It is reaching those who believe the same things that you do as an advocate for what you want to change.

To create a cause on the stop giving platform first you have to click ‘Create a new cause’ on the ‘My Causes’ icon.

Then describe your cause and fill in the information that you want. It is here when you can write about what this causes means to you and why you are raising money for it.

Once you are done, select your cover photo and select the charity you would like your funds to go to. You could also select the “StopGiver House Fund” to make sure the platform gives money to a ‘transparent’ level 3 charity.

Make a donation to launch your Cause. Once you have donated, your cause will have officially launched and you're all set up to start.

Head to stopgiver.co.uk and start creating causes and sharing on your socials, and with your friends. We will have your back and help you share your cause it on our own platforms.
